The first time I came across this therapy I was open-minded but cautious. I tried the
basic treatment for anxiety on a client of mine. Imagine my surprise when a few
minutes later he reported the feelings that his distress had just disappeared.
…Just a quick thank you for helping me with my problems. After just two visits with
you I feel much more confident and far more able to cope with everyday problems.
I still haven’t had a drink of alcohol or felt the need of any, to unwind. You did say
there would be many things along the way to stress me out, I’m not saying that you
jinxed me, but the day after our last visit, we had a pretty serious fire in our attic.
The bathroom is gutted, half of the roof has to come off and half of the ceilings
upstairs have to come down. It was due to an electrical fault with the extractor fan.
We cannot live at home until the work has been done and are now staying with my
sister. As you know we are shortly moving to Dubai and with all the preparation
necessary for the move and hoping to get the house sorted it is a pretty stressful
time. Besides all this I am remaining calm and confident and feel that Thought Field

Sheila taught me “Thought Field Therapy” and I have used it successfully to control
my fear of flying………………………………As the most difficult part of flying seemed
to be the take–off I focused on this when doing the “Thought Field Therapy”.
On Holiday I tried Thought Field Therapy and focused on the thought of sitting in the
departure lounge waiting to take–off. The journey home, both in the departure lounge
and in the plane, was absolutely fine and I now have no fears about flying at all. In
fact I enjoyed the flight.
